For over 170 years people who have been a part of First Baptist have experienced God's power and grace in special ways. Whether you are troubled or glad, anxious or at peace, we welcome you to First Baptist. We are an evangelical church, preaching, and living out the word of God. We also have a social conscience and see the importance of the church's role in serving the community, the whole community. We have a threefold purpose at First Baptist:
